# Review & approve AI changes

**Category:** Workflow · **Estimated time:** 5 min

MetaPilot can publish AI-generated [structured data](https://metapilot.io) automatically — or wait for your sign-off. This guide turns on approvals and shows how to review changes.

> **Before you start:** Approval is a per-member preference. With it off, changes publish immediately; with it on, they queue for review.

---

## Steps

### 1. Turn on approval
On your dashboard (or profile), enable **Require approval before publishing**. From now on, AI changes become proposals instead of going live.

### 2. Open Optimize → Pending review
Every proposal waiting on you is listed here.

### 3. Read the diff
Each page shows a line-by-line diff against what is live on it today — red for what goes, green for what arrives, with unchanged lines folded out of the way. The chips at the top say which fields moved before you expand anything.

### 4. Approve, edit, or reject
- **Approve** — publishes it as proposed.
- **Edit** — opens the wording first, with a Google preview of the title and description.
- **Reject** — discards it and leaves the page exactly as it is.

### 5. Approve from your inbox
MetaPilot's digest emails link straight to the review queue with a signed URL, so you can approve without even logging in.
