# Terms of Service

**MetaPilot · Legal**

_Last updated: July 12, 2026_

These terms govern your access to and use of MetaPilot. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

---

## The Service

MetaPilot generates schema.org structured data and Open Graph metadata for pages you submit, and can publish that metadata back to your site through integrations you enable (for example, a Cloudflare Worker deployed on your zone).

## Your Account

- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You must be authorized to manage any website or third-party account you connect to the service.

## Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

- Submit sites or content you do not own or have permission to manage.
- Use the service to publish unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
- Abuse the service in a way that degrades it for others.

## Connected Accounts

When you connect a third-party account, you grant MetaPilot permission to act on your behalf within the scopes you approve. You can revoke this access at any time by disconnecting the integration; doing so may stop related features from working.

## Billing and Subscriptions

- Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment provider.
- Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
- You can change or cancel your subscription from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

## Third-Party Services

The service relies on third-party providers (such as Cloudflare, Stripe, and Google). Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or actions.

## Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that generated metadata will be error-free or that the service will be uninterrupted.

## Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MetaPilot will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the service.

## Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to it or others.

## Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above, and continued use of the service means you accept the revised terms.
